Conference at the State University of Management
On May 17, 2016, representatives of IOM Moscow took part in the international scientific and practical conference "State Migration Policy of the Russian Federation: Challenges of the Time", organized by the State University of Management with the support of the Commission on Migration Issues of the Council under President of the Russian Federation for Interethnic Relations, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and the Federal Migration Service.
The main goal of the conference was to discuss the implementation of the State Migration Policy of the Russian Federation, international labour migration in the socio-economic development of Russia, as well as the problems of migration and interethnic relations. Within the framework of the conference, a plenary session was held with the speeches of the main speakers, and then the discussion of migration issues continued within the framework of the round table "Implementation of the State Migration Policy of the Russian Federation", as well as sections of the conference "The role of international labour migration in the socio-economic development of Russia" and "Migration and interethnic relations.
