Consultations on Combating Human Trafficking in CSTO format
On 23 April 2015 Moscow hosted consultations of representatives of law enforcement and security agencies in charge of the combating human trafficking of member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. Consultations were organized by IOM Moscow jointly with the CSTO Secretariat.
The participants of the consultations discussed the overall situation in combating human trafficking and the measures taken by law enforcement agencies and special services of the CSTO countries to combat the activities of organized criminal groups in the field of illegal migration and human trafficking. The participants also summed up the results of joint operation on combating human trafficking, which was held in 2014. At the end of the consultations the participants agreed on the feasibility of such joint operations in the future.
