Counter-Trafficking Training
On 12 May 2016 IOM Moscow jointly with “Safe House” Foundation organized the second training event on the specifics of work with victims of human trafficking for the representatives of the ROC Crisis Center for women “Kitezh”. This time the first part of the training was devoted to the psycho-social specifics of vulnerable groups: psychosocial traumas, social issues and consequences the victims of human trafficking might have.
The second part of the training was devoted to the evaluation of risks of “burn out” syndrome experienced by psychologists and social workers and included practical exercises and tests on determination of the participants own burn-out level, personal needs, motivation level and understanding the resources for effective work with the persons in need.
During the training sessions the participants received useful information and answers to the issues of providing direct assistance to beneficiaries of the Center and expressed their interest in participating in further psychological trainings.
