Counter-Trafficking Training
On 20 April 2016 IOM Moscow conducted a training seminar for the staff of the ROC Crisis Center for women "Kitezh". The center provides different types of assistance to women, including women with children in a crisis situation.
The topic of the training was “The specifics of work with victims of human trafficking. Provision of social, psychological and reintegration assistance to victims of trafficking”.
During the training the participants learnt about the phenomena of trafficking of human beings, received information about identification and referral of VoTs, assisted voluntary return and reintegration of victims of trafficking, including the main difficulties connected with the return to native region, the risks of re-trafficking and monitoring of cases.
