IOM Moscow Group Was Selected for Participating in Baltic Leadership Programme, 2013 Organized by the Swedish Institute
Following a series of meetings and professional discussions in the cluster of HIV/AIDS & AI expert group IOM Moscow group which comprises of two staff of Migration Health Department, a representative from Ministry of Health of Russia and a researcher from University of Ulster in UK was selected for participating in Baltic Leadership Programme, 2013 organized by the Swedish Institute. Objective of the programme is to build up a network for broadening professional links and collaboration among the participating countries: Belarus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia and Sweden. The network is supposed to develop further international co-operation and promote advanced knowledge and experience from the partners for matching the existing health needs in the Region. The Swedish Institute Baltic Leadership Programme is a step towards developing new health strategies and interventions. The first meeting scheduled for 28th November 2013 in Sweden, participation of IOM Moscow will be an asset in developing assistance to mobile populations by the Moscow Group.
